Ira Sharma – “Shy”

New Delhi-bred and Boston-based singer-songwriter Ira Sharma’s newest release is the shimmery pop-fueled track called “Shy.” The song brings forth electronic music juxtaposed with funky elements, a hooky melodic horn line, an upbeat tempo and Sharma’s silky vocals.

Darren Fernandes – “Gabrielitie”

Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Darren Fernandes offers delicate acoustic and nylon guitar-plucking on the stunning “Gabrielitie,” with his deep, yet infectious, vocals and emotive flute-playing evident on this neatly woven debut single.

Jordan Johnson – “My Girl”

Having been part of the Indian independent music landscape for a number of years, Mussoorie-based singer-songwriter Jordan Johnson had taken a step back for a while. Now, he has returned with a new alt-indie track called “My Girl.” The song features jangly, strummed acoustic guitar parts, Johnson’s crooning voice, fascinating sonic production, and more.

Sijya – Young Hate

New Delhi-based composer-producer and graphic designer Sijya recently released her debut six-track downtempo and ambient EP Young Hate. The record revolves around Sijya’s honest and introspective artistry, while sonically, she serves up a well-produced and rounded body of work.

Arjun C – “Fairy Tale”

Indie singer-songwriter Arjun C’s debut single, the optimistic “Fairy Tale,” has a hooky synth stab while the musician also adds swanky guitar parts, shakers, an upbeat groove and his quirky-yet-resolute vocals to the song.

Aneesha – “Don’t Be A Creep”

New Delhi pop artist Aneesha’s latest single, “Don’t Be A Creep,” comes wound in a funky bass line while a punchy beat keeps the song flowing as the singer delivers a lesson with her schooling lyrics.
