Local bands from the North East have been shortlisted to compete at the eighth edition of the Hornbill International Rock Contest, which takes place in Kohima, Nagaland between December 6th and 10th.
Bands from Nagaland at Hornbill include alt rock band White Noise, experimental rock/metal band Infuse, folk fusion band Purple Fusion, indie rock band We The Giants and alternative rock band Making Merry. Other bands from the North East also added to the list include Sikkim metalcore band Eyestill, Shillong metalcore band Deadnote and Manipur progressive metal band The WisHess.
