Indian-origin New York/Philadelphia-bred hip-hop artist G-Deep teams up with seasoned rapper Kidd Kidd (part for G-Unit crew) for a typical East-meets-West crossover on “Gangsta Rollin In The Club.” The song is accompanied by a video of the collaborators and their friends taking their party to a new level.

G-Deep says the song intends to bridge the gap between South Asian hip-hop and Southern U.S. hip-hop styles, which explains why the video even has Hindi subtitles for anyone looking to understand the lyrics. The rapper, for his part, has been balancing Hindi, English and Punjabi releases for a couple of decades now. His previous single “Hard Life” was out last month, putting forward confrontational and confident Punjabi hip-hop.

“Gangsta Rollin In The Club” is also produced by G-Deep, who says he wanted to make a song that emulates the energy of G-Unit biggie 50 Cent’s hit song “In Da Club” from 2003. The rapper adds that he added an “international vibe” to his latest track as well. G-Deep says, “We shot the video in Atlanta. Kidd Kidd being [my] favorite rapper from G-Unit, it was an honor to work with him. Kidd Kidd loved the beat, it had the early 2000s hip-hop club vibes. We just want people to have a great time listening to this club banger.”
