Music duo have announced shows in Mumbai, Bengaluru and New Delhi in September, with the release coming up on Aug. 30
Singer-composer duo Garvit – Priyansh – comprising Garvit Soni and Priyansh Srivastava – released their new song “Savera” on Aug. 30 and will follow it up with a run of shows in September, as part of their Khwabon Ke Rang India tour.
Earlier this year, Garvit and Priyansh released their EP Lafz via T-Series, on the back of being signed by the major label at the start of the year alongside several singer-songwriters.
The duo have so far racked up hits such as “Mere Ranjhana,” “Raaziyan,” “Kagaz,” “Aao Zara,” and “Tu Aazma.” Their breakout hit, however, was the 2022 song “Sanware.” More recently, they also worked with composer-producer Shashwat Sachdev to make their Bollywood soundtrack debut, for the song “Jao Ji Jao” from Ulajh in July. Now, “Savera” aims to capture the feeling of starting anew, which is heightened by a solid vocal performance.
Soni says in a statement about the upcoming song, “‘Savera’ is a song that speaks to the heart. We wanted to capture the feeling of a fresh start, those moments when everything feels possible, and you’re ready to embrace what’s coming. It’s about finding hope even in the darkest times, and I believe this song resonates with anyone who’s ever looked for that first light of a new day.”
Srivastava adds in his statement, “Working on ‘Savera’ was a deeply personal journey. We poured our emotions into this track, aiming to create something that truly connects with people. For us, ‘Savera’ is not just a song; it’s a reflection of the resilience and optimism we all need in life. We hope listeners feel the same sense of renewal and inspiration that we experienced while creating it.”
Released on Aug. 30, Garvit – Priyansh will spend a few dates in September on the road, as part of their Khwabon Ke Rang India Tour which has three cities announced so far. Billed as their first India tour, the duo and their band will perform in Mumbai on Sept. 18, in Bengaluru on Sept. 21 and in New Delhi on Sept. 22. Get tickets here.
