12 independent artists will be chosen by the digital music content company for its initiative Songfest Xplore
Digital music company Songfest India recently announced the launch of their latest initiative called Songfest Xplore. Through this campaign artists will have the opportunity to send in their songs and the 12 best ones will be picked to have a music video produced, distributed and promoted by Songfest India.
The competition is open to all genres and all languages. The last date to submit an entry is on September 10th while the rollout of the winners’ videos will be between October to December of this year.
Gaurav Dagaonkar, co-founder and CEO, Songfest India, said, “India today has thousands of talented independent musicians who are creating music at their own expense but are lacking distribution and promotional resources. And at Songfest, it has been our constant endeavor to provide that platform to the artists.” Meghna Mittal, co-Founder and CMO, Songfest India, added, “We believe that the joy that we feel on discovering various artists should be felt by many Indians, and that’s the reason we continue to work with them and promote their music widely through leading platforms.”
