Skrat

Catch Chennai rock trio Skrat bring their garage sound to Mumbai this week. The band released their third album Bison last year, after putting out 2014’s The Queen and their debut offering Bring out the Big Guns a year prior. Be sure to hear crunchy guitar parts, groovy bass lines, pulsating drums and frontman Sriram T.T.’s steely vocals.

Indus Creed and The Circus

Feeling nostalgic? Then attend Mumbai rock veterans Indus Creed’s gig this week and hear them perform the heavenly “Pretty Child,” the electrifying “Top of the Rock” as well as more recent material such as the delightful “Fireflies.” New Delhi’s The Circus is also on the bill bringing their experimental electro-rock sound to the table.

Grey Shack

Influenced by the likes of Led Zeppelin and AC/DC, Chennai rock band Grey Shack ”“ who released their second album Alchemy earlier this year ”“ Â are ready to shred with their new frontman Prashant Oliver.

Smalltalk and Cinema of Excess

In March, Mumbai R&B-soul band Smalltalk released arguably one of the best debut EPs this year, withÂ Tacit. The four member group has gone from strength to strength on the live front too and is now off to perform in Bengaluru this week. Hometown acoustic trio Cinema of Excess are also slated to perform.
