Glass Beams Announce India Shows in October

Melbourne’s masked psychedelic trio Glass Beams will return to India this October, performing in three cities as part of their Asia tour.

The band—founded by Indian-origin artist Rajan Silva—will perform in Gurugram, Delhi NCR on Oct. 9, 2025 at Open Grounds, Gymkhana Club, in Mumbai on Oct. 11 at Nesco Center and in Bengaluru on Oct. 12 at Indiranagar Club as part of the tour organized by music company and ticketing platform SkillBox‘s LiveBox gig series.

Registrations for presale tickets are now open, with those signing up getting access to buy tickets from Aug. 23, 2025 at 12 noon.

This run of shows—which the band has hinted will also see them travel to countries like the U.A.E., Japan, South Korea, China and Bahrain—marks Glass Beams’ third visit to India. The band first made their way to Magnetic Fields Festival in Rajasthan in December 2023, followed by a quick return to the country to perform at Echoes of Earth festival’s Goa edition and a club show in Bengaluru in February 2024.

In a rare interview with Rolling Stone India in 2023, Silva spoke about what it meant to travel to India, the country that inspired their debut EP Mirage and was described as a “love letter to my Indian heritage.” He added, “Traveling to India to play this music is feeling like a homecoming of sorts. The anticipation is immense, and we feel humbled to share our music with an audience rooted in a rich musical tradition.”

In 2024, they also released “One Raga To A Disco Beat,” their rendition of acid-house pioneer Charanjit Singh‘s “Raga Bhairava” from the latter’s iconic album Ten Ragas To a Disco Beat.

Since the release of Mirage EP, Glass Beams released their second EP Mahal in 2024, gaining even more global fan-following, partly for the mystique but chiefly for what Silva has called “a lyric-less fusion of musical cultures.” Promotions for Mahal took Glass Beams around the world, including their current run of headline shows as well as on tour supporting fellow Australian act Rufus Du Sol in North America. In June, the trio also performed at Glastonbury, U.K.
