Shurland Ayers – “Stuck In Ya Wayz”

On his new single, the trap-leaning “Stuck In Ya Wayz,” Tokyo-based hip-hop artist Shurland Ayers showcases his rhythmic skill and self-reflection over forward-thinking production and a slick beat. In the track’s accompanying clip, Ayers is seen performing the song against a trippy visual.

Ebony Buckle – “Wonder”

The first single off London-based singer-songwriter Ebony Buckle’s forthcoming debut album Disco Lasers, is the heartwarming “Wonder.” The song is an ode to the world’s loneliest whale, which was discovered in the Eighties. Produced and co-written by Nick Burns, it includes actual samples of the whale’s call, haunting organ parts as well as Buckle’s spine-tingling vocals.

Massachusetts indie-rock outfit Valleyheart dial it down with plaintive melodies and instrumentation on their latest single “Scenery.” The song touches upon the idea of being emotionally, mentally and physically stuck.
