Hanne Mjøen – “Emotional Fever”

Norwegian alt-pop artist Hanne Mjøen’s title track from her latest EP Emotional Fever includes a catchy hook and is enhanced with electronic production as well as sensational vocal layers. Lyrically, the artist sings a tale of having an emotional battle, in a statement, she said, “One moment it feels like forever, and the next you get a panic attack, and you just want to leave. And it feels like a fever because of the sudden changes you have no control over.”

MasonRoseGray – “perfect design”

Florida-based singer-songwriter MasonRoseGray’s delivers a sweet, uplifting track that is filled with taping rhythms and her husky vocals. In a statement, she said, “[The song] describes loving every part of your mind, body and soul as well as others. I believe we are all individually unique and special in our own ways.”

Gozé feat. LoftBlue and Sakari – “Wish U Well”

Swedish producer Gozé teams up with New York rapper LoftBlue and Los Angeles artist Sakari for a Nineties hip-hop inspired track “Wish U Well.” The song features poetic production and a mellow atmosphere as well as slick rhymes and moody vocals. Talking about the song, Gozé said, “I love hearing a track and being able to recognize instantly who produced it. The Neptunes, Timbaland, Dr. Dre had such unique sounds that their productions almost became the artist itself. My intentions are to create that with Gozé.”

Borka Balogh – “Light”

Utrecht-based band Borka Balogh – which takes its name from its frontwoman, who is of Hungarian origin – dive deep into the human psyche with the new song “Light.” The wistful yet inquisitive song is taken from their three-track EP Femina Bellator, which draws from Balogh’s “everlasting connection to Hungarian folk and her lyrical vulnerability with the gracefulness of indie-pop.” The band is completed by keyboardist Marieke Berkvens, bassist Remy de Kok and guitarist Moniek Roeloffs and drummer Jorn Kortooms.

Paledusk – “Black Ice”

Even three minutes into Japanese metal band Paledusk’s recent release “Black Ice,” you feel like you’ve been throw into a blender and the lid’s flown off. Drawing from hardcore, mathcore, djent and as well as electronic, chaos seems like the band’s main goal on “Black Ice,” coupled with fast-paced choreography, VFX and lots more crammed into every second of their music video.

KYE – “Tuesday” ft. Jerome Farah

Zimbabwe-born, London-bred and currently residing between Naarm and Melbourne, KYE aka Kylie Tadiwa Chirunga is a singer-songwriter who brings warm pop and hip-hop on her latest single “Tuesday.” Featuring singer-songwriter and producer Jerome Farah, there’s a smooth flow for the optimistic song. “‘Tuesday’ is about that person who leaves you a little lonely but you’re willing to wait however long it takes to win them over,” KYE says in a statement.
