Following the success of the Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Fest, Genesis Foundation is now hosting the first edition of the Goa Rhythm & Blues Music Festival on October 30th and 31st. The two-day outdoor event will take place in the sprawling Bay View Lawns at Taj-Fort Aguada, and feature artists such as Shillong-based blues band Soulmate, and German rockers The Doors of Perception, a tribute band dedicated to reviving the music of The Doors, among others.

Says Nanni Singh, events head of Genesis Foundation, “The Kasauli festival receives a good footfall every year, so we are hoping for a good response to this festival too.”

Apart from treating attendees to genres like soul, jazz, R&B, sufi and fusion, The Goa Rhythm and Blues Fest will also raise funds to sponsor medical treatment of underprivileged cancer patients that are supported by Genesis Foundation.
