South Korean supergroup GOT: The Beat is all set to make their first-ever comeback next month with an EP. Titled Stamp On It, the release comes nearly a year following the group’s debut single “Step Back.”

Earlier this month, the supergroup was confirmed to make their first-ever comeback in 2023. This was shortly followed by the group revealing the artwork of their upcoming EP along with the dates confirming their return to the spotlight.

Composed of members from each generation of K-pop, GOT: The Beat is the first sub-unit from SM Entertainment’s project ‘Girls On Top.’ Similar to what the label previously concocted with the male supergroup SuperM, GOT: The Beat brought together seven artists signed under the label; BoA, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon of Girls’ Generation, Seulgi and Wendy of Red Velvet and Karina and Winter of aespa. Vocally robust with choreography taking centerstage, the septet effortlessly blends the two to harness compelling performances— a taste of which we first got with the sonically intense but lyrically dissatisfying release “Step Back.” Unlike SuperM, however, GOT will feature a rotational lineup of artists.

According to a statement shared by the label, the group’s forthcoming EP will include a total of six songs in the dance genre. Ahead of the album’s release, GOT: The Beat will perform their new song at the free online concert ‘SMTown Live 2023: SMCU Palace @Kwangya’ concert on January 1st, 2023.

Stamp On It will be released on January 16th. Pre-orders begin on December 29th.
