GOT7’s Jinyoung Unveils Solo Album Title

Earlier today actor and singer-songwriter Jinyoung revealed via Instagram that his upcoming solo album will be called Chapter 0: With. The record is his first album and follows his 2021 debut single, “Dive.” Reports of Jinyoung working on his debut solo album first emerged back in November 2022 and fans have been waiting in anticipation for more news ever since.

Set to drop on January 18th, Chapter 0: With celebrates Jinyoung’s 10-year career in the entertainment industry. He made his acting debut in 2012 with the Korean drama Dream High 2, after which he debuted as a member of the massively popular K-pop group GOT7 in 2014. Prior to joining the group, Jinyoung was also part of the JJ Project, a duo with fellow GOT7 member Jay B, which also made its debut in 2012.

In addition to revealing his debut album’s title, Jinyoung has dropped teaser images and a schedule poster to outline all the promotional content around the record’s release. Fans will get a better idea of Chapter 0: With thanks to photos, video clips, a highlight medley and more, all of which begin dropping on Monday, January 9th, up until the album’s release on the 18th. According to the artist’s label BH Entertainment, Jinyoung has participated in the songwriting and production process for Chapter 0: With.

Jinyoung’s last comeback outside of OSTs was in 2022 with the rest of the members of GOT7 when they dropped their hit single, “Na Na Na.” The singer-songwriter is also a prominent actor in the Korean film and television industry, known for his critically acclaimed performances in various projects like Yumi’s Cells, The Devil Judge, Yaksha: Ruthless Operations and A Christmas Carol. More recently, Jinyoung announced he will be embarking on a solo fan-meeting tour in Asia titled Rendezvous 2023.
