Australian singer-songwriter Wouter De Backer, better known by his stagename Gotye, will perform for the first time in India next year. The concert, slated to take place at Blue Frog in New Delhi on February 6th, 2013, is part of Oz Fest, an Australian cultural fest that brought down acts such as prog-metal band Karnivool, indie rockers Jinja Safari, indie pop act Sheppard, electronica duo The Aston Shuffle and indie duo Big Scary to India last month.

Gotye, who has sold over 2 million copies of his 2011 album Making Mirrors, recently picked up three Grammy nominations, including a puzzling one in the alternative music category. His hit single, “Somebody That I Used To Know” has received over 350 million views online and has spawned countless cover versions on YouTube in the recent past.

Gotye performs at Blue Frog, New Delhi on February 6th, 2013. Ticket price: TBA
