American rock legends return to India after nearly 13 years, for the first time with guitar great Slash

American rock legends Guns N’ Roses will perform in Mumbai on May 17, 2025 at Mahalaxmi Race Course, with general tickets on sale starting Mar. 19, 2025 via BookMyShow.
An exclusive presale of tickets for Kotak Mahindra Bank customers will begin on Mar. 17, 2025 at 12 PM IST on BookMyShow, while general onsale of tickets will go live on Mar. 19, 2025, at 4 PM IST. Tickets are currently shown as starting at ₹4,499.
The band announced the news on their social media and said, “We’re comin’ to India! This is going to be special.”
The band behind classic hits such as “November Rain,” “Welcome To The Jungle,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and their rendition of Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” will return to India for the first time since late 2012. Back then, frontman Axl Rose and co. performed in Bengaluru and Mumbai in November 2012.
Slash, who had gone solo since 1996, returned to the band in 2016. It was a year prior in 2015 when Slash ft Myles Kennedy (from alt-rock/metal band Alter Bridge) & The Conspirators performed in India, headlining the festival series MTV Indies Xtreme in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Guns N’ Roses’ upcoming India show comes on the back of announcing a massive world tour which kicks off in May in South Korea, with Mumbai being their third stop, before they head on to the Middle East/West Asia and later, headline festivals such as Wacken Open Air in Germany in July 2025. The band’s most recent India connection before this show was in 2023, when Bengaluru-based heavy metallers Girish And The Chronicles supported Guns N’ Roses in Abu Dhabi.
Guns N’ Roses’ India show is produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment experiential division of BookMyShow, in partnership with Live Nation, the global producers of the band’s tour.
