Guns N’ Roses Reunite to Play Coachella 2016?

You might just catch the Axl+Slash+Duffy McKagan lineup as rumors of the original ‘Appetite For Destruction‘ reunion have sparked—again

Veteran rockers Guns N Roses are rumored to be reuniting–again.

Undercurrents of the Guns N’ Roses reunion rumor have been running thick the entire year ”” whether it was Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx tweeting [in all caps] that “THEY ARE [getting back together], EVERYBODY KNOWS.”, Axl Rose and Slash mending fences earlier this year or the guitarist himself announcing “it [the reunion] was probably way overdue.”

But speculation over the original “Appetite” lineup regrouping after 20 odd years quickly gained traction once more, after Billboard reported that multiple sources had confirmed the legendary rock band as headliners for Cali’s mega-festival Coachella next year, set for April 15-17 and April 22-24 2016.

GnR is also rumored to be in talks with promoters to play a number of football stadiums across North America, and is scheduled to be one of the first acts to play the new Las Vegas Arena, set to open April 6.

While the original Axl+Slash+Duffy McKagan lineup will be one of the biggest comebacks in music history, it is certainly not the first time that Coachella will have achieved the impossible; having hosted reunions in the vein of American metallers Rage Against The Machine in 2007, Irish rock band My Bloody Valentine in 2009 and American hip hop duo Outkast in 2014.
