The Handshake Concert is an annual musical and cultural festival that was born out of the North East India Music Festival, and organized under the patronage of North East Zone Culture Centre, Government of India in collaboration with Rolling Stone India. Says chief editor of Rolling Stone India Radhakrishnan Nair, “It was a real pleasure for us at Rolling Stone to work with the Rattle & Hum Music Society to put together the recent Handshake Concert in Mumbai, I was really impressed by the quality of organizing that the RHMS team did. That was one of the main reasons why the concert was such a huge success. Everyone who came for the concert was all praise for the quality of music and the fine selection of artists who played that evening.”
