This is the dance-pop group’s first release since last year’s ‘Masters of the Sun Vol. 1’ and also features Snoop Dogg
Last week, American dance-pop group the Black Eyed Peas put out a bubbly new track – their first since 2018’s Masters of the Sun Vol. 1 – titled “Be Nice.” While the song also features U.S. rapper Snoop Dogg, what caught our attention was the fact that the track has been co-written by Goa-based electronic producer Anish Sood.
In a Facebook, Sood said, “When I was in LA last June [2018], Sameer Sadhu put me in touch with Adam Friedman [American singer-songwriter] and we got together at his studio in Venice and wrote a funky jam called ‘Be Nice.’ Fast forward to Feb this year and Adam told me he was going to perform this track on an upcoming TV show called Songland. A few weeks after that, he hit me up to let me know ‘Be Nice’ is going to be the lead single on the next Black Eyed Peas album.”
Recently Sood said in a statement, “It’s been a pretty incredible experience to be a part of this song. When Adam and I wrote [it] we had absolutely no idea that we would end up here. We’re extremely grateful to will.i.am and the entire Songland crew for this opportunity.”
“Be Nice” features a slick synth part, some glossy vocals, a catchy chorus and a smooth verse by Snoop Dogg.
