Blink-182  have premiered new song “Rabbit Hole,” which hails from their forthcoming album, California . Zane Lowe debuted the track  on his Beats 1 radio program on Wednesday and the band also revealed the song’s lyric video.
Unlike the 14-second “Built This Pool,” which they recently shared as a looped 10-hour video, their latest song clocks in at two-and-a-half minutes. The frenetic song deals in the kind of relationships that haunt and cause sleepless nights. The anthemic chorus is full of resolve. “I won’t fall down that fucking rabbit hole/ I’m barely standing on the ground/ All the hints that you leave are too hard to believe at all/ I won’t fall down that fucking rabbit hole with you, with you, with you, with you again,” Mark Hoppus and their newest member Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba sing.
California is available for pre-order and will be released on July 1st. It’s their first album without founding guitarist Tom DeLonge and that features Skiba, who steps in for DeLonge. Blink-182 also previously unveiled the LP’s first single “Bored to Death.”
