Following up last year’s Wildheart, Miguel has debuted a new song called “Come Through and Chill.” The smooth song was produced by Salaam Remi, Miguel’s frequent collaborator.
Above a hypnotic guitar and beat combination, Miguel delivers exactly what the song’s title promises. “Just say you will, will, will/ Come through and chill, chill, chill,” he sings on the chorus.
Miguel has not revealed whether or not the new song indicates an imminent fourth album. The California singer has been touring in support of his 2015 LP and will embark on an arena tour this fall as the opening act for Sia.
Miguel has also worked with or remixed a variety of artists since his diverse album was released. He offered up his own, unofficial remix of Rihanna’s Anti track “Kiss It Better” and had his own song “Waves” remixed by both rapper Travis Scott and country singer Kacey Musgraves. He has also been tapped for a role in Ben Affleck’s Prohibition-era film Live by Night, which is scheduled to be released in 2017.
