Hear Rihanna, Drake’s Tropical House-Flavored ‘Work’

Singer unveils latest single from upcoming ‘Anti’

On Wednesday morning, Rihanna went to “Work”: After months of teases, viral marketing and the announcement of an upcoming world tour, the singer finally unveiled another single for her new LP Anti, a collaboration with Drake titled “Work.” The track arrives just days after Rihanna revealed that she finished work on her much-anticipated follow-up to 2012’s Unapologetic.

The laid-back “Work” finds Rihanna infectiously singing over the same tropical house vibe that drove hit singles like Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?,” while Drake’s verse finds the rapper confessing, “If you had a twin, I’d still choose you.” In addition to premiering the song, Rihanna shared the gloomy “Work” cover art.

“Work” was previously teased in January during the long run-up to Anti, with Rihanna and Drake – who previously teamed on singles like his “Take Care” and her “What’s My Name?” – reportedly shooting a video for the single last month in Los Angeles.

With the Anti Tour set to kick off February 26th in San Diego, Rihanna will reportedly release her new LP in the very near future. It’s unclear whether 2015 tracks like “Bitch Better Have My Money,” “American Oxygen” and “FourFiveSeconds” will appear on the album. Stream the track at Tidal or listen below.
