With the Thanksgiving holiday weekend upon us, it seems most big named artists have decided to withhold any new single releases but that doesn’t mean we still don’t have a huge slate of fresh music. Here are this week’s #HitsOfTomorrow!

“Another Day In America” – Kali Uchis, Ozuna

Kali Uchis and Ozuna team up together for a song, “inspired by” the upcoming Steven Spielberg remake of the iconic musical West Side Story. It is just right the right update for the classic “America” track, much like what Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” did for The Sound Of Music. The lyrics are deep, political, bold and oh so relevant – Uchis has not taken one wrong turn lately and for once, Ozuna seems a bit subdued, which works to the groove and the feel of the track. Part of me wishes the new film would actually feature this updated soundtrack but even without that, this song works big time to showcase (and hype) the film slated for release on December 10th and also as a standalone standout! I’m going to be playing this on repeat!

“Cool” – Miya Miya

Rising British pop band Miya Miya have themselves a banger here. The band had already shown promise with their writing chops on the Number One hit dance track “All Night Long” by Jonas Blue with Retrovision. “Cool” is everything that radio needs right now – solid melodies, catchy hooks and a new entry into the co-ed group space that has been relatively non-existent over the past many years. A welcome addition to any playlist.

“Boujee On A Budget” – Robyn Ottolini

Slated to definitely be a very big deal very soon, not only in country music but I’d say crossover with a capital C is Robyn Ottolini. The self-described “Eminem of country music” switches up all the rules of what it means to be a country artist in 2021. Ottolini’s “Boujee On A Budget” works exactly the same way “Fancy Like” worked for Walker Hayes this past year – it’s honest, a bit comical, appropriately self-deprecating and 100 percent catchy. There’s no way this doesn’t blow up big time.

“You’re Not Harry Styles” – Dylan

Similar to Ottolini in boldness is Dylan’s “You’re Not Harry Styles.” The song has just the right level of self-awareness and tongue-in-cheek personality for it to score big at pop radio for the artist. And of course with a title like that, there’s bound to be conversation and we’re likely to see the phrase enter our pop culture lexicon.

“What’s Not To Like” – Lime Cordiale, Idris Elba

Our second taste of the odd pairing of the Aussie duo Lime Cordiale and British actor Idris Elba, better known as Cordi Elba comes in the form of “What’s Not To Like.” The title actually fits quite appropriately as the up-tempo track will get you dancing and the “la la las” will have you singing along. Both artists actually seem in their element here and it makes me excited for their upcoming mini-album!

On the cusp…here are three more new releases we hope to see go far!

“Forever Young” – Kurtis Wells

“Never Say” – Jac Ross

“Milk” – Allie X
