#HitsOfTomorrow ft TWICE, Lauv, Tori Kelly, Madison Beer, Mia Rodriguez and More

This week’s rundown of the ‘should-be’ hits includes Shygirl with SG Lewis, Andra Day and others

Published by

While a few new releases are evoking some excitement with listeners, there is still a lot of attention being paid towards last weekend’s Grammy Awards. From Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” climbing to Number One on the iTunes Chart for the first time in 36 years to SZA’s “Snooze” making its way back up the charts, the better than usual ceremony proved it still had juice left in it and streaming and sales are proving just that.

Of course that doesn’t take away from said new releases that include the likes of Kacey Musgraves who starts off a new era with the folksy-not-really-country “Deeper Well” and the kinda-country but more rock “ROCKSTAR” from Hardy.

Recent Grammy winner Kylie Minogue teams up with Sia for “Dance Alone” – hopefully the track dances its way to the Top 40 (I think it will). Meanwhile, the wait is almost over as Ye and Ty Dolla $ign release “Talking/Once Again” which features West’s daughter North West for the majority of the single. The album was slated to release and by the time this publishes, it just might…finally!

While all these tracks are likely to impact strong, let’s get on with the #HITSOFTOMORROW, the SHOULD-BE hits of the week.

TWICE, Lauv — “I GOT YOU”

With Lauv’s addition, there’s no reason this synth-pop bop shouldn’t became a Top 40 staple globally.

Shygirl, SG Lewis — “mr useless”

SG Lewis adds production heft to Shygirl’s single, making it perhaps her most radio friendly single to date.

Mia Rodriguez — “Ride”

You can’t help but move the minute the music starts and thankfully the track is catchy AF.

Andra Day — “Probably”

Love hearing Andra Day channel her inner Billie Holiday on this masterful single.

Tori Kelly — “high water”

Tori Kelly keeps soaring higher with each new release and this one might just be the best showcase she’s had in years.

Valentina Ploy — “Mr. Heaven Blue”

Some songs feel familiar and reductive, but this feels fresh because of that!

Em Beihold — “Maybe Life Is Good”

Em Beihold is in a lane of her own right now and this track further cements that coolness.

Michael Marcagi — “In The Light”

A gem that has so many layers of catchiness, you can’t help but hope this is a smash!

Madison Beer — “Make You Mine”

Madison Beer continues to give us wondrous sophisticated pop – this is a hit!
