House of the Dragon Season 2 is finally here!
The eagerly awaited Game of Thrones prequel will release new episodes weekly starting June 17, with its eight-episode run concluding on August 4.
Unlike the 10-episode first season, Season 2 will feature only eight episodes.
Viewers in India can catch the new episodes every Monday at 6:30 AM, simultaneously with the U.S., exclusively on JioCinema Premium.
Episodes will be available in multiple languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi.
According to the official synopsis based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, House of the Dragon Season 2 “explores the saga of the Targaryen dynasty in greater depth, chronicling the intense conflict between the ‘Blacks’ and ‘Greens’ over the Iron Throne.”
The story takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones.
The cast includes Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen), Emma D’Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen), Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower), Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower), Steve Toussaint (Corlys Velaryon), Eve Best (Rhaenys Targaryen), and Fabien Frankel (Criston Cole), among others.
