Hyderabad Gets Its Own Music Festival, Fields of Love
The day-long debut edition enlists a fully local lineup, including indie rock band The Ragamuffins, singer-songwriter Arpit Chourey, hip-hop DJ KAN-i and more

Fifty homegrown artists are slated to perform at Hyderabad’s brand new festival, Fields of Love, on May 6th at the city-based club Rendezvous across three stages. The first edition of the festival focuses on three genres — electronic music that ranges from deep house to techno, indie rock/metal and hip-hop. Â
The Electronica Stage, Hip-Hop Stage and Grandstand Stage features a lineup that includes a number of Hyderabad DJs and producers such as hip-hop DJ KAN-i, deep house duo Between Us, trap DJ Gaurav Lalchandani and hip-hop artist B_oh_B, among others. Also on the bill is Bhopal-bred folk artist Arpit Chourey, progressive rock band Colossal, indie rock group The Ragamuffins and more.
In a statement, the festival organizers said, “Fields of Love music festival is a unique concept of bringing together the unified love for music amongst all DJs, producers and music enthusiasts in Hyderabad. A conjunction of love for music, from different people, for the people.”  Besides the music, attendees can devour at the food and beverages stalls available at the event as well as shop at the flea market which will create a jovial ambience.
