The cultural and music fest returns with some of Bollywood’s most famous acts and the crowd favorite 'RDV's Got Talent'
In its 40th edition, IIT Delhi’s annual festival Rendezvous is keeping its tradition of showcasing a sweet spot for music as well as the usual fare of college cultural events. Rendezvous’s band event Blitzkrieg has previously been headlined by the likes of Dutch prog metallers Textures, American rock band Hoobastank and Indian rock veterans such as Agnee and Parikrama.
Apart from Blitzkrieg and a band competition, there’s another crowd-puller this year, talent competition RDV’s Got Talent, presented by Rolling Stone India in association with Pepe Jeans. The event takes place between October 17th and 19th, between 2 pm to 3 pm at IIT Delhi, giving students an open stage to show off their talents, be it be singing, dancing, fine art, standup comedy, freestyle football or juggling skills.
Other top events at IIT Delhi Rendezvous include fashion and dance competition Kaleidoscope, indie band hunt Spectrum and Bollywood performance event Dhoom, which includes a set by the Bollywood composer trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy on October 19th. Blitzkrieg, on the other hand, takes place on October 17th, featuring performances by Chennai rockers Junkyard Groove and Mumbai alt rock band Spud In The Box.
