The American DJ-producer behind records like ‘Fallen Embers’ will perform in three cities this February
American electronic artist Illenium aka Nick Miller returns to India four years after this India debut, teaming up with Sunburn Arena for a three-city tour this February.
Illenium, best known for chart-topping albums like Ascend from 2019 which championed the then-burgeoning future bass sound, will perform in Mumbai on February 23rd, followed by Bengaluru on February 24th and in New Delhi on February 25th.
The artist said in a statement about his run of shows, “I’m beyond excited to bring my world tour and new music to the incredible fans in India. The energy and passion from the audience are unparalleled, and I can’t wait to create unforgettable moments together. This tour is a special opportunity to connect with the vibrant music community in India. Get ready for an immersive experience – we’re going to make these nights truly memorable!’’
Recently releasing self-titled album in 2023, Illenium made his way to India for the first time in February 2020, headlining Vh1 Supersonic in Pune. It was on the back of releasing dancefloor-dominating singles like “Good Things Fall Apart” with singer-songwriter Jon Bellion and “Takeaway” with dance music duo The Chainsmokers and singer Lennon Stella. While that drew a packed house at the mainstage, Illenium’s India tour is likely to take on an equally-big arena format next month.
Illenium has so far spent his album tour cycle on a 37-date run across North America, Europe, and Australia in 2023. The shows on this world tour have promised high-end production value and an audiovisual experience, including his often-seen motifs of Phoenixes and ash trees.
Often delving on topics of awakening, rebirth and healing through his music and his visuals, Illenium will carry that forward into his India shows as well. Sunburn’s CEO Karan Singh added in a statement about the tour, “We are thrilled to bring down Illenium for a multi-city tour for his Indian fans. His groundbreaking sound and global recognition align perfectly with Sunburn’s ethos of delivering unparalleled musical experiences. The upcoming tour promises to be a celebration of electronic music, uniting fans across Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru in an unforgettable musical journey.”
While venues are yet to be announced, tickets for each city shows are currently priced in their early bird phase at ₹1,000 for general admission, ₹2,000 for VIP access and ₹4,000 for fanpit area access.
