India Bike Week Line-up Announced

The two day festival in Goa features UK reggae band Gentleman’s Dub Club as headliners

A month after New Year parties invaded Goa, a new festival called India Bike Week will play host to bikers and bike enthusiasts from all over the country, with performances from 16 artists on two stages. The two-day festival will take place on February 2nd and 3rd in Vagator.

The headlining act at the festival are reggae, ska and dub nine-piece band Gentleman’s Dub Club from Leeds, UK. The India Bike Week line-up also includes Delhi electronica artist Dualist Inquiry, Shillong bluesman Lou Majaw and Friends, Kolkata rock n’ roll band The Supersonics, Goan EDM DJ Anish Sood and Delhi acts such as pop rock band Faridkot, psychedelic rock band Indigo Children, DJ Nucleya and Delhi reggae group Reggae Rajahs.

Making a shorter trip from Mumbai are electro rock vets Pentagram, alt rock band Split, electro-indie band Sky Rabbit and alt punks BLEK. Also performing are dubstep duo Bay Beat Collective, drum n’ bass artist Ox7gen and bass act Bombay Bassment. 

Tickets for the festival are priced at Rs 3,000 with a Rs 500 discount for female attendees. Children under 12 years of age get free entry.
