Indo-British Artist Maya Lakhani Releases Surging New Rock Song ‘Torn In Two’

Surrey-based Indo-British singer-songwriter Maya Lakhani has maintained her record of releasing one single each year since 2020 by sharing her latest offering and fourth single, the blistering “Torn In Two.”
The new track follows last year’s gripping “Nightfall” and keeps the artist’s quintessential rock sound intact. “Torn In Two” brings forth heavy drums, steely guitar parts, Lakhani’s soaring vocals and introspective lyrics.
Talking about the new song, the singer-songwriter says, “‘Torn In Two’ is a song about feeling continually conflicted about a person, and battling between forgiving or just forgetting entirely.” Lakhani adds, “It was written, recorded and produced by me from my bedroom. This is a skill I learned out of necessity in the lockdown, but I have fallen in love with this way of working and will continue to produce music in this way.”
