Indore Producer MÜNE Drops Chill House Tune ‘Room’

On his first release of the new year, electronic music producer MÜNE aka Pranay Sharma lays over radiant melodies and beatific drops for what is essentially a song of longing, on “Room.” 

The Indore-based artist says about the track, “When you listen to the song, you will find out that the lyrics are about a couple and their separation, which is supposed to be a sad song but instead of that I turned it into chill danceable track. I always try to do that ’cause for me there’s no set rules that if the lyrics are sad, then you have to make sad music too.” The swirling chill house track walks a fine balance between being club-friendly (at a time when most clubs are still shut around the globe) and a comforting bop for people to nod along to.

“Room” is Sharma’s third official release with long running electronic music label Ultra Music, who signed MÜNE last year. The song follows his remix of “Need U” by composing duo PaN!ck as well as his own track “Better With You,” which featured U.K. artist Tors. For “Room,” however, Los Angeles singer Emma Sameth’s vocals are singing wistfully about a past relationship. Sharma adds about his working relation with Ultra Music so far, “I have all the freedom to do whatever I want when it comes to music. It’s always my choice how my songs should be.” 

Up next, the producer says he’s working on multiple songs and planning for an EP. “Maybe we will release them as singles as well,” Sharma adds.
