After playing a stellar set at the recently concluded Bacardi NH7 Weekender in Noida over the weekend, Mumbai rockers Indus Creed will now be opening for veteran rock legend Carlos Santana for the Rock ‘N India concert to be held in Bengaluru on October 26th, 2012. Indus Creed frontman Uday Benegal is busy putting together a best-of setlist when his band opens for the fellow “old-school rocker.” Says Benegal of their one-hour opening slot, “There will be some old, some new and some unreleased songs. But we haven’t decided specifically on what songs yet.” The vocalist adds that you can definitely hear them play their classic favorite, “Trapped.”

Santana will also perform on October 28th as part of the  F1 Rocks showcase at Galgotias University in Noida, where Punjabi rapper Honey Singh last took to stage. The University is located across the road from the Buddh International Circuit where the Indian Grand Prix kicks off on October 26th.  Shillong-based blues band Soulmate will be opening for Santana in Noida.

Tickets for Rock ‘N India are priced at Rs 2,750 and tickets for Santana’s F1 Rock show are priced at Rs 3,500. You can buy tickets for both the shows here.
