In addition to fronting one of the world’s best known heavy metal bands, Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson definitely has his hand in several pies, from being a pilot to hosting radio shows when he’s not singing his lungs out in front of thousands across the world. Turns out, Dickinson, 57, has got more than just Maiden fans in India.
The vocalist has been invited to India to speak at Blog Now, Live Forever ”“ which proclaims itself as “the most disruptive conference on blogging” ”“ in October. Dickinson is one of the keynote speakers at the conference ”“ organized by blogging community IndiBlogger ”“ who will deliver a talk on October 31st, the first day of the two-day conference held at the Lalit Hotel in Mumbai. This is the first conference hosted by IndiBlogger, which was founded in 2007.
Although there’s no word on whether Maiden, who just released a new single called “Speed of Light” from their upcoming double album Book Of Souls [due out September 4th], will perform in India, you can be sure Dickinson will be around to plug the album in Mumbai, in addition to talking at BNLF in his capacity as an entrepreneur and artist.
