Parikrama, Shaa’ir and Func, Swarathma and more at Jadhavgadh Music Festival 2014

The charity gig by the Genesis Foundation also includes Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Geetu Hinduja and Pune-based rock group Atul Ahuja & The Band

The second edition of the Jadhavgadh Music Festival, held at theidyllic 18th century Jadhavgadh Fort in Pune, will once again transform into a festival site that will host some of the country’s best performers. The lineup for the music festival includes Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Geetu Hinduja, Pune-based rock group Atul Ahuja & The Band, Bengaluru-based fusion band Swarathma, Mumbai-based electro pop act Shaa’ir and Func and Delhi-based rock veterans Parikrama, who will perform on September 27th and 28th.

Last year’s edition featured Mumbai jam band Something Relevant with singer-songwriter Rachel Varghese,  Delhi-based singer Sonam Kalra and the Sufi Gospel Project, Mumbai singer-songwriter Akshay Deodhar, Glasgow-based fusion pianist Utsav Lal and two cover acts including the Beatles Tribute Band from Mumbai and Applied For from Delhi.

Tickets for the festival are available through donor cards worth Rs 3,500 per person and Rs 5,500 for couples. Proceeds from the festival will go to The Genesis Foundation, who will help fund treatment for children suffering from critical ailments.
