After over a year, Jass Manak has finally teased new music.
The Rolling Stone India January 2024 digital cover star announced his new track “Love & Lies” via Instagram on Wednesday (January 17).
The song, which will be released as a part of the 24-year-old singer’s new partnership with Mass Appeal India, is set to come out on January 25th.
During his cover story interview with RSI, Manak shared that he plans on releasing “a lot of new songs this year”.
Teasing a shift in his musical vibe, he hinted at a transformation in his sound that promises to captivate audiences in fresh and unexpected ways.
For the past year, Manak was on a “creative break”.
Reflecting on his choice, the “No Competition” singer explained, “When you keep doing something over and over again, there comes a point when you need a break.”
Jass recognized that external factors, including forced “brand collaborations and the intense pressure to release new music” were impacting the quality of his artistic expression.
