'Optic' album comes out on iTunes this week
According to RapRadar.com, the “optic EP” will include both audio and visual material recorded at tonight’s final concert of Jay-Z’s eight-night run at the new Brooklyn stadium. The EP is currently available for pre-order on iTunes. While the track listing on the pre-order site is blank, it indicates that the album will include eight tracks and eight separate videos.
Word of the album comes just on the heels of the recent announcement that Jay-Z will be launching a new YouTube channel called Life + Times. While the channel will eventually feature a Brooklyn Nets series called The Road to Brooklyn and a fan-interaction show Roc Nation Check-In, its first order of business will be a live-stream of Jay-Z’s final Barclays concert, starting tonight at 9:30 p.m. EST.
