It would seem that India is finally getting the recognition it deserves as a fandom hotspot. After several rumors and failed previous attempts at a tour in the country, Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has confirmed he will be performing in Navi Mumbai on May 10th, 2017. The show will be part of Bieber’s world-famous Purpose Tour in support of his fourth studio album.

Bieber’s announcement is a dream come true for thousands of Asian fans as more added dates to the tour include Tel Aviv and Dubai. The organizer behind the Indian show is White Fox India’s director Arjun Jain and not Percept Media’s Shailendra Singh as previously reported. “We are the sole promoters of the Purpose Tour in India and after 6 months of negotiation we have finally closed the India leg of the tour,” confirms Jain in a statement. “We are expecting a full house on May 10th with one of the biggest arena tours witnessed in recent times. This tour will place India on the global map and open up avenues for other artists of similar stature who may want to consider India as part of their touring roster.”

Tickets will go on sale from February 22nd 2017 and will be priced from INR 4,000 upwards.
