Kanye West Posts Completed ‘Black Skinhead’ Video

Interactive clips lets viewers adjust speed of images, sound

Now there’s an official version. Kanye West recently posted a link to a completed video for “Black Skinhead,” the lead single from his new album Yeezus. An unfinished clip (stylized as “BLKKK SKKKN”) was posted online earlier this month, resulting in a stream of displeased tweets from West.

The interactive animated video, directed by Nick Knight and streaming on the rapper’s website, allows users to play with the speed of the images and sound, and to capture still images of an animated avatar of West as he moves and twists in digital shadows.

It was a busy weekend for West: in addition to posting the video, the rapper had a confrontation on Friday with a photographer at LAX that has resulted in a police investigation after the paparazzi claimed that West battered him during the incident.
