Punjabi star's It Was All A Dream Tour expands into the new year, now concluding on Jan. 5, 2025 in Hyderabad
On the back of selling reportedly 2 lakh tickets on his It Was All A Dream India Tour, Punjabi artist Karan Aujla is adding more dates to his headline run of shows across the country.
The “Softly” hitmaker — who was already slated to travel to six cities in December 2024 as part of the tour — will visit Ahmedabad on Dec. 31 and perform in Hyderabad on Jan. 5, 2025. The tour, presented and produced by entertainment company Team Innovation, has already sold ₹75 crores worth of tickets, according to a press release. With the addition to these cities, Aujla’s tour — originally just four shows when it was announced in July — has now been expanded to include 11 shows across eight cities, with sold out shows in Delhi NCR and in Mumbai.
Hot on the heels of the hit film song “Tauba Tauba” from Bollywood movie Bad Newz, Aujla’s It Was All A Dream World Tour stops by Chandigarh on Dec. 7, Bengaluru on Dec. 13, New Delhi on Dec. 15, 18 and 19 and in Mumbai on Dec. 21. In September, the tour added stops in Kolkata on Dec. 24 and Jaipur on Dec. 29.
Aujla said in a statement about the tour’s expansion, “The love and support I’ve received from my Indian fans has been overwhelming. This tour is a dream come true, and I’m honored and grateful. I’m looking forward to seeing you all soon!”
Presented and produced by Team Innovation and supported by Live Nation, Aujla will be joined by long-time collaborator and Toronto-based producer Ikky in all cities. The tour follows the release of his billboard-charting projects Making Memories and Street Dreams with Mumbai rap star DIVINE.
Team Innovation’s co-founder Siddhesh Kudtarkar added in his statement, “Karan Aujla’s India tour has been nothing short of a phenomenon. It’s a testament to his incredible talent and the growing global appeal of Punjabi music. What started off as a four show-three city trek has turned out to be the most monumental event of the year. We’re excited to expand the tour and bring this incredible experience to even more fans and non-Punjabi markets across the country.”
A press release adds, “Indian fans can expect a dynamic and electrifying performance filled with crowd pleasers such as ‘Admiring You,’ ‘Tauba Tauba,’ and ‘Softly.'”
