The Mumbai producer took to the decks at a packed house at antiSOCIAL, capping off a lineup he curated, including Kayan, Insowmya, Swadesi and more
Donning the blue Team India cricket jersey, Mumbai producer Karan Kanchan proved just what a unifying and versatile force he is behind the decks at his headline set for Ballantine’s Glassware True Music Studios x Boiler Room set at antiSOCIAL in Lower Parel on October 5th.
On the back of releasing the Cricket World Cup song “3 Ka Dream” featuring Raftaar, the beatsmith brought a revolving door of guests into the packed house Boiler Room gig that radiated all kinds of seismic activity. From DIVINE performing “Mere Gully Mein” and “Baazigar” to Yashraj digging into “Raakh” and Seedhe Maut segueing into their own DJ set, Kanchan also called on Delhi frontrunner KR$NA, Mumbai MC D’Evil, plus Punjabi artist Riar Saab, part of the Gully Gang roster.
The Ballantine’s True Music x Boiler Room set by Kanchan capped off a night of raucous dancefloor action by several other artists, all of which was curated by the producer himself. Artists taking the decks included producer and singer-songwriter Kayan, DJ-producer Insowmya, Mumbai hip-hop act Swadesi, producer Bamboy and OG Shez. Watch the footage below.
