Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival 2014 Lineup Announcement

The third edition of the festival includes blues rock band Soulmate, rock veterans Indus Creed, acoustic rock band Whirling Kalapas, folk rock band Lagori and more

This year’s edition of the two-day Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival will feature artists who have never performed at the festival before. Organized by Genesis Foundation, the third edition of the festival includes Shillong blues rock band Soulmate, folk rock act Susmit Sen Chronicles, rock band Indus Creed, acoustic rock band Whirling Kalapas, Bengaluru folk rock band Lagori and more.

Also among 10 artists performing at the festival are Delhi jazz fusion duo Adi & Suhail, comprising guitarist Aditya Balani and fusion band Advaita’s sarangi player Suhail Yusuf Khan. Bengaluru blues rock band Ministry of Blues, pop rock singer Caralisa Monteiro, Bengaluru jazz band Kaya and Delhi-based rock guitarist Valentine Shlipley will also perform at the festival.

Entry to the Kasauli Rhythm and Blues festival is with donor cards, which go towards raising funds for the NGO’s goal of facilitating medical care for children with special medical needs.

The Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival takes place on April 18th and 19th, 2014 at Baikunth Resorts, Kasauli. Entry: Rs 5,500 (general), Rs 3,000 (for  12 ”“ 18 year-olds). Children below 12 enter free. More details here.
