Kinectimals

Xbox 360/Microsoft/ Rs 1999 Genre: Virtual pet [Four stars]

It’s amazing how a game that features a tiger, lion, panther and leopard cubs (one of who makes an appearance on an RC car) is enough to melt the hearts of the crabbiest of us us. Kinectimals is replete with such moments of pure cuteness. The objective of the game is to pick a pet feline from the lot and teach it tricks, play games and unlock parts of the island you’ve found yourself stranded on. That’s all there is to it really. Think of it like an evolved mash-up of a petting zoo and virtual-pet mini-games, except that everything just flows rather than having to break in between games. Every game from teaching your pet how to fetch a ball to riding a remote control car is well implemented and accurate without a single issue. This is one of the better games to get yourself…err your kid sister on Kinect.
