King Announces Jason Derulo Collaboration ‘Bumpa’

Rolling Stone India’s April 2024 cover star, rapper King, announced during his cover story interview that a collaboration with American singer-songwriter Jason Derulo was in the works. In the earlier interview, King said, “I’m also working on material that aligns with my fans’ expectations while also exploring new territories they’d never imagine I’d venture into.” 

King’s upcoming collaboration with Jason Derulo, titled “Bumpa,” marks a significant milestone in the rapper’s career. “Bumpa” is slated for release on April 26th, just ahead of the launch of King’s highly anticipated album MM. Fans will have a taste of what’s to come, setting the stage for the album’s release. 

The collaboration between King and Derulo brings together two distinct musical styles, blending King’s rap prowess with Derulo’s signature pop-infused R&B sound. As King continues to solidify his presence in the music industry, collaborations with established artists like Derulo serve as a testament to his growing influence and versatility as an artist.  

Talking about the upcoming album MM, King said, “My aim with this album is to unite a variety of artists and enhance their authentic talents. I’m not seeking anything different from anyone; my sole objective is to bring out their skills,” he said. King added, “This project will stand as a substantial catalog of collaborations in the history of the Indian music industry.”
