Ahead of the release of his new album Monopoly Moves, King will kick off his listening party tour for the full-length on Aug. 2 in New Delhi, performing at the K.D. Jadhav Hall at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.

King has noted that this is the first time that he’s kicking off a tour with a show on home ground. The Monopoly Moves Album Listening Party Tour will kickstart in New Delhi on Aug. 2 followed by stops in Bengaluru (Aug. 4), Dehradun (Aug. 9), Ahmedabad (Aug. 11), Indore (Aug. 17), Kolkata (Aug. 24), Hyderabad (Aug. 30) and end in Mumbai on Aug. 31.

King said in a statement, “Delhi is where it all started for me. It’s only fitting to begin this special tour in my home ground, where I first found my voice with my biggest supporters.” Special guests are expected to join the artist on stage at different stops on the tour.

A press release adds, “Delhi, the city that nurtured King’s talent and laid the foundation for his meteoric rise, will be the epicenter of this musical celebration.”

Previously described as “a celebration of KING’s latest sonic endeavor and hip-hop,” the tour will include at least some of the 15-track album that’s releasing in full on Aug. 2. From the full 15, eight songs from Monopoly Moves have been out, including “Saza” with MC Heam, “Kodak” with hip-hop duo Seedhe Maut, “Bawe Main Check” with rapper Raga, “Still The Same” with singer-producer Abhijay Sharma, “Goat Shit” with rapper Karma and the singles “Pyaar Humara,” “Misfit” and “Way Bigger.”

The next single, “F*ck What They Say” with Pune star MC Stan, will also drop on Aug. 2.
