New Delhi’s Kintsugi Studios has often shone the spotlight on independent music from the capital and the rest of India as well, specifically through their live performance video series Kintsugi Sessions.

Started in 2015 by producer, audio engineer and artist Abhishek Sekhri started Kintsugi Studios and this week, they’re celebrating a decade in action with workshops, performances and an open house for people to visit the studio. “As Kintsugi Studios completes a decade of being a home to independent music we look back at countless stories, collaborations, and dreams that found their sound within these walls,” Sekhri says.

While Kintsugi Sessions is yet to restart and highlight more Indian indie performances, here is what’s in store at the New Delhi studio this week, which is curated in collaboration with multimedia creative company Nine Nine Studios.

Mixing as Storytelling with Abhishek Sekhri

Taking place on Oct. 25, 2025, this workshop is geared towards producers and audio engineers. It is described as a workshop that focuses on “using mixing as a tool for storytelling and highlighting the narrative of the song.” Conducted by Sekhri (who also makes music under the moniker Goya), this one’s for anyone looking to understand how the little details make a big difference in each song.

Art of Vocal Arrangement with Kamakshi Khanna & Abhishek Sekhri

Also taking place on day 1 (Oct. 25, 2025), this workshop sees Sekhri co-host with singer-songwriter and vocal powerhouse Kamakshi Khanna to speak to singers about how they can go a level deeper with their craft thanks to production. The workshop will explore “the art of vocal layering, harmony, and arrangement shaping emotion and depth through collaborative vocal production.”

Produce Your Own Voice with Curtain Blue & Goya

On day two (Oct. 26, 2025) of the workshops at Kintsugi Studios, New Delhi singer-producer Curtain Blue aka Abhishek Bhatia and Sekhri will dive into how “raw song ideas” can be transformed into polished demos through the path of “creative production, vocal recording, and intuitive mixing techniques.”

10 Years of Kintsugi Concert

The likes of singer-songwriter Aadya Jaswal, genre-bending indie artist Darzi, singer-composer Avanti Patel, singer-songwriter Rawnaq and Goya himself will perform at the Piano Man, Eldeco Centre in New Delhi on Oct. 28, 2025 as a culmination of Kintsugi Studios’ 10th Anniversary celebrations. The gig also adds The Aahvaan Project, known for their contemporary renditions of Nirgun folk music.
