Bengaluru-based musician Yuhina will support the producer on the tour
In a symphony of electronic beats, haunting vocal melodies, and harmonies that resonate with the soul, Komorebi is set to embark on a nationwide tour to showcase her 2023 album, The Fall. The tour, featuring a full band set-up, promises an immersive experience that transcends the boundaries of sound, offering a unique glimpse into the artist’s self-produced universe.
Komorebi, the moniker for the multi-talented artist Tarana Marwah, will be accompanied by Bengaluru-based musician, Yuhina, who recently unleashed her own sonic enchantment with the EP MNEMONIC. Together, they create a sonic fusion that is bound to captivate audiences nationwide.
The tour kicks off at Fandom in Bengaluru on January 19th, setting the stage for a musical journey that will crisscross the country. With dates at venues like Auro Kitchen & Bar in New Delhi, Lollapalooza 2024 in Mumbai, EXT in Hyderabad and antiSOCIAL in Mumbai, Komorebi is set to leave an indelible mark on the live music scene.
What sets this tour apart is not just the musical prowess of the artists but also their shared vision for a live performance experience that goes beyond the ordinary. Both Komorebi and Yuhina delve into the depths of their self-produced music, reconstructing and debuting their tracks in a format that promises consistency in sound yet allows room for artistic spontaneity.
Interestingly, the artists seem to share a wavelength not just in musical styles but also in the themes they explore. Whether it’s the artists they admire or the personal experiences from their respective journeys, there’s an undeniable synergy that adds an extra layer of intrigue to their performances.
As fans gear up for the gigs, Komorebi has meticulously curated the visual elements of the tour. LED screens and visuals will weave a narrative that complements the sonic journey, creating a multi-sensory spectacle that blurs the lines between reality and art. Adding to the experience, Komorebi has also set up a merch table featuring her The Fall comic, providing a tangible connection to the stories that inspired the album’s tracks.
