Levi’s® X Justin Timberlake Is Here

The award-winning actor-musician joins hands with the iconic denim brand once again, to launch the 20-piece Fresh Leaves Fall 2018 collection

It isn’t a first for music genius Justin Timberlake and denim icon Levi’s to find each other. Timberlake’s partnership with the brand started with the remake of the Levi’s Trucker Jacket for the brand’s 50th anniversary, and later evolved as Levi’s celebrated the launch of his tour by creating eight pieces for his pop up in New York ”“ which he wore during the tour as well. So, it’s only apt that the 10-time Grammy Award-winning musician and actor now joins the denim giant to launch the Levi’s x Justin Timberlake Fresh Leaves Fall 2018 collection.

“Clothes are as important to a musician’s creative process and performance as the music itself. This Levi’s collection is my attempt to share some of my experiences with fans,” says Timberlake, and Fresh Leaves rightly suggests so. The ideology behind naming the collection is very personal to Timberlake as he attempts to make a mark of his own through timeless pieces shown in a fresh light ”“ familiar pieces, patterns, colours and silhouettes are given a remake for a fresh look.

“We immediately connected with Justin on creating pieces that blended the familiar with the unexpected. Inspired by the stories behind Justin’s music, we used classic materials ”“ canvas, plaids, camo, flannels, sherpa and denim and put them onto familiar silhouettes and Levi’s icons, but remixed them by infusing streetwear elements and hits of modernity,” says Karyn Hillman, Chief Product Officer for Levi Strauss & Co.

The capsule collection introduces the best of the Levi’s icons, all rooted in quality craftsmanship and premium fabrics. Expect modern streetwear hints, proportion play, oversized and longer lengths, as well as hoods on truckers and shirts. The result? A 20-piece men’s collection grounded in the most iconic fits, perceived through the lens of the unexpected and modern.

“As a symbol of authentic self-expression, Levi’s has always been worn by musicians with original voices as well as by their fans all over the world. Justin embodies the authentic spirit of Levi’sand we are proud to partner with him on this collection,” says Jennifer Sey, Chief Marketing Officer for Levi Strauss & Co.

Starting October 4th, the collection will be sold worldwide at select Levi’s stores and online on Levi.in.
