Lisa is ‘Born Again’ In New Single With Doja Cat, Raye

The Blackpink singer released her first new music of 2025 ahead of her upcoming solo album Alter-Ego

Lisa released her much-anticipated single “Born Again” with an accompanying music video on Thursday, tapping Doja Cat and Raye for her first new music of 2025.

The video begins with a grandfather clock ticking backwards, followed by a display showing a definition of the song’s title: “the transformation into a New Woman who embraces her freedom to become the person she desires to be.”

While Lisa, Doja, and Raye appear to be dressed in black mourning gowns in the first part of the video, they eventually shed their past selves and emerge in ethereal white dresses accented with pieces of silver armor.

“Born Again” is the fourth single for the Blackpink singer and rapper’s upcoming debut Alter-EgoLast year, Lisa released the album’s lead single “Rockstar,” along with follow-up tracks “New Woman” featuring Rosalia and “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me),” which reimagines Sixpence None the Richer’s 1997 song. Alter-Ego will drop on Feb. 28, and Lisa will make her Coachella solo debut in April.

Beyond her music, Lisa is co-starring in the upcoming third season of The White Lotus which will premiere on HBO on Feb. 16. Speaking with Tyla in a Musicians on Musicians interview with Rolling Stone last year, Lisa said she took on White Lotus because she “wanted to try something new that I never had a chance to do.”

“Because I’ve been singing for eight years, and sometimes you feel like you need something new to try,” she said.

While Lisa has been focused on her own music, Blackpink will likely be keeping her busy this year too, with the iconic K-Pop supergroup teasing a world tour earlier this week.
