This January, B.R.E.E.D released his first full-length album Binate on San Francisco label Muti Music. The new nine-track album was a fresh mix of slow motion funk, synth and glitch hop. The album made it to the Number 1 on Additech and Number 3 on Beatport’s Glitch Hop chart.

Taking a break from the first leg of his worldwide tour to promote the album, the producer has released an unofficial remix of deadmau5’s and Imogen Heap’s “Telemiscommunications.” The track is in keeping with B.R.E.E.D’s most recent artistic direction as he continues to dabble with liquid and emotional glitch. The stripped down version of the track showcases Heap’s mellow, other worldly vocals, which are offset by the gentle pauses and features sparse layers of bass, synth and atmospherics. Says D’souza, “I’d done the track four or five months ago, but didn’t get the chance to release it. It’s not hard-hitting or beat heavy, but it’s got textures and layers.” The original version of the song appears on electronic producer Deadmau5’s album Album Title Goes Here and singer-songwriter Imogen Heap’s album Sparks.

B.R.E.E.D will be performing during a multi-city tour of India this May.
