New Delhi singer-songwriter Hanita Bhambri had quite an eventful 2018 all with winning talent contest Project Aloft Star Asia and releasing her debut single “Let Me Go.” She says, “My family and friends were proud of me.” Her success at Aloft Star also helped her bag a deal with Universal Music India with whom she has recently released her latest offering, the hope-abiding “Be Patient.”

The track was originally penned when Bhambri was 17 years old but the arrangement for it was only finalized recently. “My bassist Danik Ghosh had this idea to make this song a sonic experience with guitar lines, claps and chant like harmonies,” says Bhambri. “Be Patient” features clever dynamics, the claps that Bhambri talks about add a nice touch which blend in seamlessly with the musician’s delightful vocals. Lyrically the singer-songwriter states that listeners can interpret the song however they want but mentions that the track “is an optimistic song.”

“Be Patient” was recorded at Ferris Wheel studio in Gurugram, produced and mixed by veteran sound engineer Miti Adhikari and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road Studios in the U.K. Next, Bhambri has a music video in the pipleline as well as her forthcoming debut EP. She says, “We will have a tour after [releasing] the EP.”
