Nucleya’s brand new EP titled Koocha Monster draws inspiration from South India. In the six-track EP, he combines South Indian folk beats with his signature bass-heavy sound. Koocha Monster also includes a collaboration with Tamil folk singer Chinnaponnu on his track “Bell Gadi,” which incorporates South Indian street dance or tappankoothu beats. “Jamrock,” with vocal snips from Damian Marley’s legendary “Welcome to Jamrock,” is also heavily driven by tappankoothu.

Speaking of Marley, Nucleya slips into the reggae zone in his track “New Delhi Nuttah” with Delhi-based rapper Delhi Sultanate backing him up. The EP also includes tracks like – “Street Boy,” “Akkad Bakkad” and a remix of “Bangla Bass” with UK-based singer Mou Sultana, who sings in Bengali, and American dancehall producer Brooklyn Shanti.

Udyan Sagar under his moniker Nucleya has produced various mixes and singles, which can be found here  and also released an album of Bollywood remixes called Horn Ok Please in 2010. He is all set to play at the Eristoff Wolves Den at Bacardi Nh7 Weekender Pune on October 19th, Bengaluru on November 24th, Delhi on November 30th and Kolkata on December 14th.
