Tune into the fantastic four who will open for the UK-based EDM artist during his India tour
Brit DJ Gareth Emery kicks off his four-city India tour in Mumbai tomorrow and ROLLING STONE India and Submerge India creating an opening set spot for upcoming DJs and producers who would be part of Emery’s four-city tour. The final decision was tough, as we picked four DJs, reaffirming that the Indian EDM scene is only getting bigger and better. Â Here’s our pick of EDM artists from each city
1. Beatstatic (Mumbai)
Formed in June 2011, The Mumbai-based duo compose electro tunes under the monikers of Jarus (Suraj Nambiar) and Kroschild (Rachit Jobalia) recently opened for another English DJ, techno/electro artist Max Cooper.  Beatstatic will  play an opening set at Emery’s Mumbai gig on July 18th at Royalty, Mumbai.

2. Akshay Bhujbal aka DJ Akshayy (Pune)
The progressive trance DJ from Pune plays a set in his home city to open for Emery, whom he cites as one of his major influences, among Above and Beyond, Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren. DJ Akshayy, who got into the scene last year, will open for Emery at Miami club in Pune on July 20th.

3. Progressive Brothers (Delhi)
Sunny Barker and Karan Bhalla form progressive house and trance duo Progressive Brothers. After forming as a trio in 2010, Barker and Bhalla have gained a large following in Delhi for their tunes and have more shows lined up in the capital through July and August. Catch them opening for Emery at Blue Frog, Delhi on July 19th.

4. Sam Abraham (Bengaluru)
DJ Sam Abraham plays a mix of deep techo and house music and has been playing DJ sets across Bengaluru since last year. Abraham opens for Gareth Emery and Rohit Barker in Bengaluru on July 21st at Chancery Pavilion.
